“This journey began the first time I sat at a jeweler’s bench. The tools felt natural in my hands. I was drawn in by the tiny scale, the flame, the quiet focus of making. I remember walking in with nothing and leaving with a beautiful something I could wear. It felt as though this was work I had been made for.

Much of my inspiration comes from nature. Long walks along shaded paths, noticing small and often overlooked forms. Leaves suspended on the thinnest stems, wisps of a dandelion, the spiked centers of flowers after their petals have fallen away. These details are intricate, imperfect, beautiful. I’m drawn to texture alongside smoothness, to circles not quite round, to pieces with irregularities and intrigue. 

I believe we’re each drawn to what reflects something true and unique about us. Our style, our quirks, our way of being in the world. Some pieces simply say that’s it when you encounter them, intuitively. My hope is to create enduring, wearable art. Pieces that feel personal, intimate, and lasting, worn as an expression without words.”
